Cheltenham Rotary Club was formed in 1921, and so in 2021 to celebrate the club's 100th year, 100 trees were planted right across Cheltenham.

Cheltenham North Rotary Club celebrated it's 50th year in 2022 and planted 50 trees around Chertenham

Most of these trees were funded by generous donations from the town's businesses and individuals

Many trees are in memory of people that we have lost

At the outset, we placed a small plaque by every tree on a support frame which stabalised the trees until maturity

Cheltenham Borough Council are now gradually removing the supports and therefore also the plaques, and so we are celebrating what we acheived and the genorousity of the donors by memorialising the information on these pages
